
With nearly the entire firm staff in attendance, either at the office or over Zoom, the law firm prepared for an upcoming court battle by conducting a simulated proceeding. Firm attorneys and staff played the roles of judge, defender, prosecutor, and witnesses in order to better gage how the proceedings would play out. The outcome resulted in meaningful changes being made to the arguments and pre-prepared counter-arguments that the firm anticipated using at the proceeding. The client's name and case details are withheld for privacy reasons. The mock trial reflects the general effort that the firm's attorneys take to achieve a strategic advantage over the government lawyers and, ideally, win.
